Karen Kester MThPerf (UNE), BPrimEd (UOW) feels incredibly lucky living in the beautiful Northern Rivers, New South Wales, Australia surrounded by family and nature. When not teaching, she can be found working in theatre or nurturing her garden by providing a haven for native wildlife and her palate. She loves writing stories that are heartfelt and humorous, containing hidden messages of sustainability and self-awareness. Karen believes that understanding nature is important to understanding our role in growing it.  

Davide Ortu is an Italian artist now living in Spain. He studied Art in Cagliari Arts Lyceum Foiso Fois, Sardinia. Open melancholic spaces, atmospheres between dreams and reality, and fantastic elements are the main features of his work, where time stops to show the biggest emotions in the smallest people. A mixture of elements that can reach the fantasy of children and the heart of adults.
