Dhana Banana can't wait to be eaten, but a journey to school leaves her looking unappetizing, and she wonders if anyone would want to eat her.

Dhana Banana is the yellowest, smoothest, and tastiest looking fruit in the house. She can't wait to fill someone's tummy and is excited when she gets put in a school bag for lunch. But the journey to school is hazardous, and books and pencils bump into her, denting her beautiful skin. Uneaten, she waits in the bag until found by Mom. Will Mom throw Dhana Banana away, or will she have another idea for this poor-looking fruit? A charming story written in humorous rhyme with playful illustrations, Dhana Banana in fruit or bread form, is sure to delight! Includes a recipe for banana bread.

A teacher and book lover, Jacinta lives in Australia with her husband, three children, a boisterous beagle, and some rogue chooks.
